How Sgrollo works

Traditional flight search asks "where do you want to go?". Sgrollo asks "how much do you want to spend?" — and builds the trip around your budget.

1

Set your constraints

Pick your home airport, a date window, how many cities you want to visit, how long you want to stay in each one, and your total budget. Optionally choose a themed mission — Mediterranean, Northern Europe, World tour…

2

We optimize the loop

Sgrollo runs a true route optimizer (a time-dependent Held-Karp algorithm) over thousands of cached fares. It tests every visiting order and departure day in your window and returns the mathematically cheapest closed loop — not a guess.

3

Review & book

Compare the top loops on the map, check the leg-by-leg breakdown with live re-validated prices, then book the whole multi-city trip in one click — flights and hotels — through our partners.

Frequently asked questions

What is a cheap-hop loop?

A closed multi-city itinerary — origin → city 1 → … → city N → back to origin — where every leg is chosen so the total price is as low as possible while respecting your minimum stay in each city.

How does Sgrollo find the cheapest route?

Sgrollo runs a time-dependent dynamic-programming optimizer (a Held-Karp variant) over real cached fares. It evaluates every visiting order and departure day inside your date window and returns the mathematically cheapest loop, not just a heuristic guess.

Are the prices shown real bookable fares?

Prices are indicative cached fares from flight-data providers and are re-validated in the background when you open a result. The final price is always confirmed on the booking site before you pay.

Is Sgrollo free?

Yes. Searching and planning are free. When you book a flight or a hotel through our partner links we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.

Can I do a one-way multi-city trip instead of a loop?

Yes — switch off the Loop toggle and pick a final destination. Sgrollo then optimizes an open-jaw route that ends there instead of returning to your origin.

Which cities and airlines are covered?

The catalog covers ~550 airports worldwide with a strong focus on European low-cost hubs. Fares include both low-cost and legacy carriers, and short hops can be covered by rail or coach when that's cheaper than flying.
